Explain this to me: what sky glow is

The night sky is the one thing in this case that cannot be given back. Every other effect discussed on this platform can, in principle, be reduced later. Light cannot: once a place is lit, the darkness it had is not recoverable by any consent condition.

This episode explains a single idea that decides the whole lighting argument — that sky glow is an aggregate, not a fixture — and then explains why the most common answer to a lighting objection, that every fitting will comply, is true and beside the point.
