Parliament returns this week with a busy order paper and several set-piece moments that will shape the political conversation. Here's what our gallery team is watching.
Bills in the House
- Second reading of the infrastructure funding bill, the legislative backbone of the Budget's capital programme.
- Committee stage of the local water services bill, where the detail of council co-funding will be tested.
- A members' bill on political donations is expected to be drawn and debated.
Committees to watch
The Finance and Expenditure Committee continues its Estimates hearings, with several departments due to front up on how quickly new spending can be delivered. The Health Committee hears public submissions on the regional restructure.
